Tiago Neves is an Associate Professor at the University of Porto. Since the mid-1990’s, he has been involved in a number of research and intervention projects in the fields of criminology and social and educational inequalities, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Also, he has coordinated the Portuguese participation in an Erasmus Intensive Programme. He has coordinated work funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology – FCT –, and the Portuguese Social Security. He has authored three books and published in journals such as Conflict Resolution Quarterly, the European Journal of Social Work, International Studies in Sociology of Education and Higher Education, among others.
